Uses of idioms to connect sentences.

        i.            The news about Shekhar was not true. It was a rumour circulated (put about) by his aunt.


     ii.            The story was so exciting only because it was communicated (put across) in a dramatic way.

   iii.            The old couple saved (put off) a little money every month for their retirement.

   iv.            The fat man consumed (put in) twelve cakes and two litres of milk!!!

      v.            The scoundrel was confined (Put out) for two years.

   vi.            ‘I do not agree!’ interrupted (put out) Ajay.

 vii.            They moved into the office as soon as the fans had been installed (Put in).
