Passive Voice without Agent
1.      Active: Someone stole the watch.
Passive: The watch was stolen.
2.      Active: Policeman arrested the thief.
Passive: The thief was arrested.
3.      Active: People expect the Chief Minister to come tomorrow.
Passive: The Chief Minister is expected to come tomorrow
4.      Active: Someone has stolen my purse.
Passive: My purse has been stolen.
5.      Active: The enemy has defeated our army.
Passive: Our army had been defeated.
6.      Active: The postman delivers letters twice a day.
Passive: Letters are delivered twice a day.
7.      Active: We should obey the rules.
Passive: The rules should be obeyed
8.      Active: The manager dismissed him from service.
Passive: He was dismissed from service.

Voice- Extra
The word “by” is not always used before subject in passive voice. Sometimes words “with, to, etc.” may also be used before subject in passive voice.
Examples.
Active voice: The water fills the tub.
Passive voice: The tub is filled with water.
Active voice:  He knows me.
Passive voice: I am known to him.

    Passive voice:I was annoyed with him.
2.Active voice:The beauty of the girl marveled him.
   Passive voice:He was marveled at the beauty of the girl.
3.Active voice:His behavior surprised me.
   Passive voice:I was surprised at his behavior.
4.Active voice: Panic seized the writer.
   Passive voice: The writer was seized with Panic.
5.Active voice: His performance satisfied the writer.
 &nbsp ; Passive voice: The writer was satisfied with his performance.
6.Active voice: The parcel contains important materials.
    Passive voice: Important materials are contained in the materials.
7.Active voice:The news shocked him.
   Passive voice: He was shocked at the news.
8.Active voice: I know the boy.
    Passive voice: The boy is known to me.
9.Active voice :Honey tastes sweet.
    Passive voice: Honey is sweet when it is tasted.
10.Active voice: Rice sells cheap
      Passive voice:Rice is cheap when it is sold.
11.Active voice: Who is calling me?
      Passive voice:By whom am I being called?
12.Active voice:Whom was seen on the road?

    Passive voice:Who was seen by you on the road?
13.Active voice: What has he done?
     Passive voice: What has been done by him?
14.Active voice:He decided to sell the house.
     Passive voice:He decided that the house should be sold.
15.Active Voice:He suggested giving up smoking.
      Passive Voice:He suggested that smoking should be given up.
