Custom is the traditional rules and regulations in human life. The human beings follow custom as rules. But we need to cope with the changing situation. We try to change ourselves by presenting our tradition. We all know that habit is the second nature. Man cultivates the tradition in him through social norms, rites and rituals. Our customs may differ with the changing condition. But we welcome the change. We hope that some change may bring good to our life. Man grows up from childhood to manhood through his family and social customs. Basically change is the law of nature. We change ourselves in different stages of our life. Before our birth we are in the womb of mother. After our birth, we come to know the world. There is a great change between the two stages. As an adult, the individual has to share the interests with others. He has to cope up with new environment and adopt new customs. In the age of globalization, people migrate from one place to another to settle down. In the way of doing so, people of one country accept the food habit of another country. Even they accept the culture and tradition that country to some extent. Their children cultivate the new traditions, customs and culture. Actually, man has to adapt himself or herself to the changed and changing situations every moment. When placed at a new place, man has to reconcile himself/herself with the new customs, values and traditions. He or she has to make a synthesis of his own values, customs and traditions with those of the new society.
