Importance of Learning English
Learning English is
important and people all over the world decide to study it as a second language.
Many countries include English as a second language in their school syllabus
and children start learning English at a young age.It is the most commonly
spoken language in the world. One out of five people can speak or at least
understand English! People all over the world use this language as a medium of
communication. Therefore in order to keep pace with the advancement of civilization
and maintain international we should learn English. It is the official language
of international organizations like UNO,ADB, World Bank, Olympic committee etc.
More than 80% of all the information in the world’s computers is in English.
Many organizations need employees who have good knowledge of English. So to get
a good job, good knowledge of English is
necessary. Nowadays, many people believe that English will help them to get a
good job with better salaries. Learning English is important as it gives an
individual to access to over half the content on the internet. Knowing how to
read English will allow him/her to access to billions of pages of information
which may not be otherwise available! Although learning English can be
challenging and time-consuming, we can see that it is also very valuable to
learn and can create many opportunities!
